Food for Fines

Starting March 17, the library is offering FOOD FOR FINES.  Raiders may bring a canned good to clear a fine and help someone in need in our community. All donations will benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

One food item clears a fine up to $1, two items clear a fine up to $2 and so on.  Below is a list of the staples most needed by the NTFB:
  • Soup, Stew or Chili, Low-Sodium
  • Canned Vegetables, Low-Sodium
  • Beans, Canned or Dried
  • Canned Tuna or Chicken
  • Fruit, Canned in Juice or Dried
  • Peanut or Almond Butter
